Race Technology Data Logging Seminar 29-05-09 At Nur-Motorsport we have experienced tremendous help from our Data logging system since we have implemented it and believe that the value obtainable from a good system such as this is invaluable to analyse what the car and driver are doing on the track and to be able to learn from this. To this end Ben attended the Race Technology seminar on use of the DL1 System to analyse track data in Nottingham to discuss this system. It was a good refresher to his previous understanding of the field and will enable us to better use the system in the future. Customer Project: 993 GT2 Replica.
We have just received a donor and
project car for a conversion to a 993 GT2 bodyshell. This car will be used

Snetterton played host to the final round of the Time Attack UK series. We
were invited along by Kev Atkins, winner of the championship last year and a
valued customer and company friend, to view the last race of the season. It
was an excellent result with Kev taking home 4 trophies from the day
including the Club class victory. Click here
for more details and photos. Nur-Motorsport R34 does Castle Combe On October 10th we attended a trackday at Castle Combe with the R34 GT-T with Stuart from Performance Cars, who drove his Sierra RS Cosworth. The Skyline did nearly 2 hours of flat out track time and didn’t miss a beat all day, despite suspension geometry problems negating some of its handling prowess. The RS Cosworth was blisteringly quick but suffered two differential failures with the diff being changed in circuit by Stuart. Impressive! Click here to read more.
On
the 22nd of September we took the GT2 to Snetterton for the
RMA/Opentrack/ Road magazine trackday. The Porsche was run pretty much all
day and never skipped a beat, putting to shame many more powerful machines
and impressed a few onlookers along the way, look forward to our review in
Total 911 magazine as a result.
