Porsche 993 GTC.
9th October 2010
The 993 GTC is now
complete, with all missing parts from the last update installed. To
celebrate we took it with the also recently completed 74 RS, our GT2 Turbo
Replica and Adrian houses GT2 Replica to the Porsche Picnic in Windsor where
the car received a great deal of attention.

11th September
2010
The cab is now
nearing completion. We have installed Bilstein B16 coilover dampers to all
corners and are confident these will provide excellent handling. Our custom
big brake setup has also been installed to this car as well as the RS 74 as
you can see below.
We have the car
sitting on a set of Rotas newest GTR style wheels, if you are interested in
them please contact us. Inside the car we have a newly upholstered full
leather interior, which with the yellow theme really suits the car.
All that remains to
complete is the suspension and ride height setup and fitment of final body
parts, and this car should be ready well in time for us to take all three
demo Porsches to the Porsche Picnic in Windsor at the end of the month. Hope
to see you there.

28th August 2010
We have decided
which trim parts to paint with the yellow theme of this car and installed
them inside and out. In addition we have this month installed a brand new
oil cooler and the pipes that feed it due to the condition of the existing
item.

21st July 2010
Due to the car that
we built this project on being originally an automatic we encountered a few
issues when installing our manual transmission. Whilst all were solved
reasonably easily, we were forced to cut a section of the transmission
tunnel away and replace it with a donor car part in order to fit the manual
box.
In order to keep
the noise down for trackdays we have decided not to remove the cat but to
remove its internals, leaving some baffles in place to act as a silencer.
Hopefully this with the main silencer should ensure we have no problems.

3rd June 2010
Over the last few
months we have been quietly working on a project that the owner did not want
in the public domain at the time, but has now decided to release.
We are converting a
Turbo Bodied Porsche 965 that was accident damaged to a 993 Cabriolet
replica with a GT2 bodykit. It currently has a tiptronic transmission but we
are picking up a 5 Speed G50 Manual box for this car tomorrow.
Due to the
necessity of replacing the rear centre panel, front tub, front wings and
rear quarters with a project such as this, the fact that these were damaged
was no problem at all.
The car will
feature carbon front wings, front and rear bumper, bonnet, engine cover and
dashboard kit. The interior will again be black and yellow themed, using the
interior that we sourced from Dave Cherry when we bought his car.
The carbon fibre
front wings which have been partly cut away, as with the rear, to
accommodate the GT2 Arch extension which will be going on the car. The car
has just been repainted in black, this will be somewhat of a sister car to
the 74 RS, but using yellow highlights.
